Community Update: Feb. 22

We are making progress

We are still listening.

Our final listening session as part of the reflection phase of our work is on February 24th at 6pm.  This session is open to parents of our youth and community members. The purpose is to listen to your questions and concerns.  Our Board Chair and Interim ED will be there to respond.  This marks the third session offered this month to provide feedback space for our community as we take steps to rebuild. We are working.

The Board of Directors is actively working to secure a consultant to help with strategic planning along with deepening our internal racial equity work.  Our commitment is to come out of this moment better so that we can build an organization that continues to help create supportive communities where Virginia’s LGBTQ+ youth define themselves, belong and flourish.
