Support Groups

Support groups are now meeting both in-person and virtually.

Any LGBTQ+ youth that meets the identity and age requirements for a particular group is welcomed to join as long as they live in Virginia.

How do I sign up for support groups? Click the button below to create an account and complete our online registration form. You will be required to provide us with a safe email address for us to contact you with the group link and other important information. If you or the youth you are signing up is age 13 or younger, a Parent Consent Form must also be filled out. Our Support Groups Manager will follow up for a quick orientation and get you into groups soon after! Please allow 1-2 days for us to process your request. Don’t worry, we will get you into our groups as soon as we can!

Young Adult Support Group (launched 8/8/22)
Mondays, 6:30-8:15
This group is for young adults between the ages of 18-25 (post high school) who identify under the LGBTQ+ umbrella, or are questioning their sexuality or gender identity. The purpose of this group is to provide emotional and mental support for older youth in the community who are navigating young adulthood while providing real-world skills and techniques to become an adult.

Youth of Color Support Group
Mondays, 6:30-8:30
This group is only for youth who identify as people of color, as LGBTQ+, and are between the ages of 14-18. This group is led by staff/facilitators of color.

LGBTQ+ Ages 14-18 Group
Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30
This group is for anyone between the ages of 14-18 who identifies under the LGBTQ+ umbrella, or is questioning their sexuality or gender identity.

LGBTQ+ Middle School Group
Wednesdays, 6-7:30
This group is for anyone in 6-8th grade who identifies under the LGBTQ+ umbrella, or is questioning their sexuality or gender identity. **Please note this group requires parental permission.

Transgender Support Group
Thursdays, 6:30-8:30
This group is for anyone between the ages of 14-18 who identifies as trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming, or non-cisgender, or is questioning their gender identity.
